Dog Walkers in New York

Real walks, on routes your dog already knows

New York dogs need real walks, daily, on routes the dog already knows, with someone who can read leash language and adjust to weather, traffic, and other dogs on the sidewalk. New York runs hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters, so walkers shift to shaded routes and hydration in July and manage salt and ice on the sidewalks from December through February.

Petme dog walkers cover Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Williamsburg, Park Slope, and every other major New York neighborhood, handling 30 to 60 minute walks: bathroom breaks, neighborhood loops, park visits when timing works, and reliable photo updates after every walk. Walkers work Central Park, Prospect Park, Riverside Park, and the Hudson River Greenway, plus the quiet residential blocks in between when a dog does better away from crowds.

Most New York dogs live in apartments and rely on a midday walk while owners commute, so reliability and a calm hand in elevators, lobbies, and busy crosswalks matter as much as the walk itself. Every walker is ID-verified and reviewed, so you can compare profiles, read reviews, and set up a free meet-and-greet before the first booking to match on your dog's size, energy, and routine.

Petme charges New York pet owners 0% commission. The per-walk rate you agree with the walker is the full price, with no platform fees on top. The Protection Plan can contribute up to $22,000 toward eligible vet costs during the walk window, and cashback compounds with every completed walk.
