I've spent years raising a super high-energy, reactive husky mix, and volunteering in shelters, so I'm used to handling 'spicy' cats and anxious dogs with a lot of patience.

About Allston-Brighton
Doggy daycare in Allston-Brighton, what it actually looks like
Allston-Brighton is the western edge of Boston: Allston is the dense student-and-young-professional half along Comm Ave and Harvard Avenue, Brighton stretches further west into more residential family blocks toward Chestnut Hill. Ringer Park (Allston's main green space) and the Chestnut Hill Reservoir (Brighton's long paved loop, shared with Brookline) are the dominant walking spines. Boston College sits at the western end and shapes the rhythm of the neighborhood every August and May.
Allston-Brighton has Boston's deepest cat-sitting demand by a wide margin. Boston University, Boston College, Berklee, and Harvard Business School all bring transient student and faculty populations who keep cats for the academic year and need long-stretch drop-ins during summer travel, family weekends, and exam periods. Dog-sitter inventory is younger and condo-living; the breed mix tilts mixed-breed and rescue-mix from local shelters. Pricing is the lowest of Boston's urban neighborhoods.
