Owners in Ontario pay 0% to Petme. You pay only the sitter’s rate in CAD. CAD 32,000 Protection Plan on every booking.
What about HST/GST on the booking?
Sales tax is a sitter-side matter, not an owner add-on at checkout on Petme. Sitters who exceed CAD 30,000 in annual sitting revenue may register and remit; the combined sales tax rate in Ontario is 13%. You always see the final amount before booking.
Is the CAD 32,000 Protection Plan accepted at Ontario vet clinics?
Yes. The protection applies at any licensed Canadian vet clinic during the booking period. There is no deductible and the protection is automatic on every booking.
Can I find a weekend dog walker in Toronto?
