Local know-how pays off in Duisburg
Duisburg is a Ruhr city of flats and terraced houses. Owners book a sitter in their own quarter rather than moving a dog across the region, so being clear about your street, your stairs and your nearest green space is what wins the first booking.
When demand peaks
The NRW summer holidays and Christmas are the peaks, joined by the autumn break and public-holiday bridges.
Know your Duisburg areas
Most dog sitting bookings cluster in Neudorf, Duissern and Meiderich. The owner brings the dog to you, so an easy handover and a green space within walking distance matter more than the size of the area you cover.
Breeds you will meet in Duisburg
Owners here mostly keep Mixed breed, Labrador, German Shepherd. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
