Local know-how pays off in Leipzig
Leipzig is the fastest-growing large German city and the least saturated of the top ten for sitters, so a new boarding host here is competing with fewer profiles than in Berlin or Munich. The flat ground, the Auwald along the Karl-Heine-Kanal and the Clara-Zetkin-Park make the walks around a stay easy.
When demand peaks
Summer holidays, Christmas and the semester breaks are the strongest weeks, when students and families leave town.
Know your Leipzig areas
Most dog sitting bookings cluster in Plagwitz, the Südvorstadt and Connewitz. The owner brings the dog to you, so an easy handover and a green space within walking distance matter more than the size of the area you cover.
Breeds you will meet in Leipzig
Owners here mostly keep Mixed breed, Labrador, German Shepherd. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
