Local know-how pays off in Leipzig
Leipzig is growing fast and the Altbau districts west and south of the centre are full of households that travel on the Saxon calendar. A house sitter keeps the flat occupied and the animals on their own routine, and the flat ground and short distances make the daily walks straightforward.
When demand peaks
Summer holidays, Christmas and the semester breaks are the strongest weeks, when students and families leave town.
Know your Leipzig areas
Most house sitting bookings cluster in Plagwitz, the Südvorstadt and Connewitz. You stay in the owner's home, so the districts you list decide which stays are practical around your own working day, not how far you are willing to travel.
Breeds you will meet in Leipzig
Owners here mostly keep Mixed breed, Labrador, German Shepherd. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
