Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does dog boarding cost per night in Kilkis?
Overnight boarding in Kilkis typically costs €10 to €20 per night, depending on the sitter, your dog's size and the time of year. Holiday weeks book up first and sit at the top of that range. Each Zoopazaro sitter's nightly rate is shown on Petme before you book.
Is my dog boarded in the sitter's home in Zoopazaro?
Yes. Petme boarding is home-based, not a kennel. Your dog stays in a Zoopazaro sitter's home and follows a normal daily routine. Most sitters limit how many dogs they take at once, which you can confirm with them in the app before booking.
What if my dog needs a vet during a stay in Zoopazaro?
The Protection Plan offers up to €20,000 for eligible accidents and illness during the stay, subject to its terms. Zoopazaro sitters contact you straight away and can reach emergency vet care while you are away.
When is it hardest to find a sitter in Zoopazaro?
Midsummer. Greece records 41.6% of its overnight stays in July and August, so that is when Kilkis is busiest and when Zoopazaro sitters have the least room. Ask early for those weeks, and expect much more availability from autumn through spring.
What does my pet need to be registered before I book in Zoopazaro?
A microchip and an entry in the National Register of Companion Animals, which Greek law requires for every dog and cat, not just dogs. A certified vet fits the chip and checks it at each visit. Have the registration in order before you book in Zoopazaro, and give your Kilkis sitter your vet's details along with the feeding and medication routine.
