About Pet Sitting in Bray
Bray is a dream location for dog owners, combining dramatic coastal scenery with the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. The Bray to Greystones cliff walk is one of Ireland's most iconic trails, hugging the coast with breathtaking views of the Irish Sea. Bray Head itself offers a steep but rewarding climb through heather and gorse, with panoramic vistas that stretch to Wales on a clear day. The seafront promenade is perfect for a gentler outing, while the grounds of Killruddery House provide a beautiful parkland setting with formal gardens and open meadows.
Bray has a seaside-town character with a real sense of community among pet owners. Little Bray and the Vevay area are close to the seafront, making it easy for residents to pop out for a quick beach walk with their dogs. Boghall and Southern Cross, set slightly inland, are family-oriented neighbourhoods with quiet streets and green spaces. Along Herbert Road and Putland Road, period homes with generous gardens give pets plenty of room. Sidmonton and the Main Street area sit at the heart of Bray's social life, where you will often see dogs tied up outside the local shops while owners grab a coffee.
