A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Boise

Boise has a high-desert climate with hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. Sitters move walks to early morning in July and August heat and watch for icy Greenbelt paths and salted sidewalks in winter that can irritate paws.

When demand peaks

Summer travel and the winter holidays drive the busiest boarding and house-sitting stretches, while the Boise State University calendar and steady population growth keep walking and drop-in demand consistent through the year.

Know your Boise areas

Most cat bookings cluster North End to Harris Ranch. Owners book the sitter who can reach them quickly for a daily visit, so the areas you list matter more than the distance you are willing to travel.
