Buffalo winters bring heavy lake-effect snow and long cold stretches off Lake Erie. Sitters keep winter walks short, clear ice from paws, and lean on indoor play, then make the most of mild summers with morning and evening outings.

When demand peaks

Demand peaks around summer travel and the December holidays, with University at Buffalo breaks emptying student-heavy areas. Boarding and dog walking lead during those stretches.
