A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Provo

Provo has a semi-arid climate at the base of the Wasatch Range: hot, dry summers and cold winters with regular mountain snow. Sitters carry water on hot, high-altitude afternoons and watch for icy sidewalks and salted paths through the winter.

When demand peaks

Demand tracks the Brigham Young University calendar, rising over move-in weekends, semester breaks, and winter ski and holiday travel. Boarding and house sitting lead during those stretches, while dog walking and drop-in visits carry the workweek.

Know your Provo areas

Most cat bookings cluster Downtown Provo to Edgemont. Owners book the sitter who can reach them quickly for a daily visit, so the areas you list matter more than the distance you are willing to travel.
