A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Savannah

Savannah's coastal climate brings hot, humid summers with afternoon storms and a notable heat index, so sitters walk early or after dusk through the shaded squares and watch for hot brick and asphalt. Mild winters keep walking and drop-in work going all year.

When demand peaks

Demand peaks with the heavy tourism calendar, especially St. Patrick's Day, spring, and fall festival season, plus summer Tybee Island travel, with boarding and drop-in visits leading. Holiday travel lifts boarding through November and December.

Know your Savannah areas

Most cat bookings cluster Historic District to Ardsley Park. Owners book the sitter who can reach them quickly for a daily visit, so the areas you list matter more than the distance you are willing to travel.
