Caring for your dog in Stara Zagora

Stara Zagora-specific tips every dog owner should know

Hot Thracian Summers

The Thracian Plain gets very hot in summer. Sitters should schedule walks for early morning or after sunset and carry plenty of water.

Park Size

Ayazmoto is enormous and easy to get turned around in. Stick to marked trails and keep dogs on leads in unfamiliar sections.

Stray Dogs

Like many Bulgarian cities, strays can be encountered in parks. Keep your dog on a lead when passing unknown dogs.
