Sofia-specific tips every dog owner should know
Sofia winters can be bitterly cold with heavy snowfall. Ensure your sitter has warm coats for short-haired breeds and paw protection for icy pavements.
Summer temperatures can exceed 35 degrees. Sitters should walk dogs early morning or evening and carry water on every outing.
Vitosha trails can be steep and rocky. Keep dogs on leads near cliffs and watch for wildlife on forest paths.

Sofia dog owners trust Petme for home-based care with the Protection Plan.
Other platforms add a 15-25% booking fee on top of every price you see. Petme does not. The price you book is the price you pay. You also get cashback back to your Petme wallet and up to €20,000 through the Protection Plan on every stay.
When you see a price of €25 per night, you pay €25. No hidden booking fee, no service fee, no percentage on top of the bill. The whole payment goes to the sitter, minus only the payment processor fees on our payment network.
Every booking on Petme returns a share of its value as Petme cashback. Cashback accrues in your Petme wallet and is applied automatically to your next booking. The more you book, the more you save.
Every booking on Petme includes the Petme Protection Plan, with up to €20,000 for eligible accidents or sudden illness during the stay. Not an add-on. Not a premium tier. Included by default on every booking.
