Caring for your dog in Basildon
Basildon-specific tips every dog owner should know
Estuary marshland safety
Wat Tyler marshes and estuary areas can have soft, wet ground. Keep your dog on marked paths and away from deep creek edges.
Essex summer heat
Basildon can get hot in summer. Opt for early morning walks in Langdon Hills woodland where tree cover keeps things cool.
Ancient woodland care
Norsey Wood has uneven terrain and old coppice stools. Watch for trip hazards and rabbit holes during off-lead exploration.
Hills community
Langdon Hills has an active dog-walking community with regular morning walkers. A great way to socialise your dog.
