Caring for your cat in Cardiff

Seasonal advice for Cardiff cat owners

Welsh rainfall

Cardiff is one of the UK's rainier cities. Keep towels near cat flaps for outdoor cats, and check for damp fur to prevent skin irritation.

Indoor comfort

On wet Cardiff days, ensure your cat has warm, dry spots away from draughts. A heated bed or sunny windowsill makes all the difference in winter.

Park safety

Cardiff has many parks and open spaces loved by cats. Ensure your cat is microchipped and neutered before allowing outdoor access in urban green spaces.
