Caring for your cat in Plymouth

Seasonal advice for Plymouth cat owners

South-west weather

Plymouth's coastal location brings mild but wet and windy weather. Keep outdoor cats' sleeping areas dry and warm, especially in autumn and winter.

Naval city life

Plymouth has busy naval and port areas. Keep cats away from the waterfront and dockyard zones, and ensure microchips are up to date.

Devon exploration

Plymouth borders Dartmoor. If your cat roams, ensure they are microchipped and consider GPS tracking collars for adventurous outdoor cats.
